Game One
Lions 5, Dodgers 2
At Dodger Stadium the Mohawk Valley Lions outscored the Brooklyn Dodgers 5 to 2.
Yu Darvish (2-0) pitched a solid game. He went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 2 walks. Overall Mohawk Valley out-hit Brooklyn 11 to 8.
Darvish got relief help from Koji Uehara who gained credit for his 2nd save. Justin Masterson (2-1) was the loser. He surrendered 3 runs in 5 innings and saw his ERA increase from 1.35 to 2.45.
Game Two
Dodgers 2, Lions 1
In a dramatic ending at Dodger Stadium the Brooklyn Dodgers won in their last at-bat beating the Mohawk Valley Lions by the count of 2 to 1.
The game was won by Brooklyn when they scored a run in the 9th inning. Trevor Plouffe laced a one-base hit. Chris Iannetta came next and he drew a walk. Alfonso Soriano dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. After another out, Jon Jay came up and he banged out a single resulting in an exciting win for Brooklyn and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Brooklyn had 8 hits for the night.
Joaquin Benoit (1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1/3 of an inning and allowing no runs. Koji Uehara (0-1) ended up with the loss in relief.
Game Three
Lions 8, Dodgers 4
Andrew McCutchen had 4 hits as the Mohawk Valley Lions beat the Brooklyn Dodgers by a score of 8 to 4.
Steve Cishek (1-0) was the winning pitcher in relief. He was reached for 1 hit and 1 walk in 2/3 of an inning. Overall Mohawk Valley out-hit Brooklyn 13 to 10.
The loss was charged to Bartolo Colon (1-1). He saw his ERA jump from 1.93 to 5.50 as gave up 8 runs in 4 innings.

In the 4th inning Mohawk Valley scored 4 runs with the help of 3 hits. The key at-bat was by McCutchen who made the crowd come alive when he tripled scoring two baserunners. Mohawk Valley had 8 hits overall, while Brooklyn had 4.

The Mohawk Valley Lions nipped the Brooklyn Dodgers in 15 innings 3 to 2 at Van Slyke Field in a hard fought contest.
Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Mohawk Valley was victorious in the 15th inning. After an out was recorded, Jason Kipnis slapped a base-hit. Kipnis was safe at second on a stolen base. After another out, Will Venable then singled giving Mohawk Valley the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Mohawk Valley had a total of 15 hits for the game.
David Price (1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings. Bartolo Colon (1-2) ended up with the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 3 hits in 2 and 2/3 innings.
